Commissioner George Bowman represented #JeffCo at the Warrior Gathering for Leaders at the Montgomery Campus of Troy University, speaking on a public-private partnetship between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Association of Counties (NACo). The event, taking pace earlier this week (May 9-11), brought together leaders from Maxwell Air Force Base and US Army Fort Benning to discuss ways to improve the transition to civilian life for our nations veterans.
