COVID-19 UPDATE
3/31/2020  
Due to the continued effects of COVID-19 in our community, the Jefferson County Commission has extended the closure of county offices to the public through April 30, 2020.
  • All release of personal property will continue to be suspended.
  • Call the office at (205) 930-3603 to:
    • report a death
    • speak with a Deputy Coroner/Investigator regarding a case
    • request permission for cremation
    • request a copy of an examination report
