Birmingham,AL – In the continued State of Emergency declared by Governor Kay Ivey and the increased spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, the Jefferson County Commission will convene virtually for both its Pre-Commission Meeting and Commission Meeting immediately following at 9 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2020.  The meeting will be held in accordance with sect. 3 of the open meeting act of the proclamation from Governor Ivey on March 18, 2020. The meeting will be live streamed via Zoom on the County’s Facebook Channel @JeffersonCoAL. The meeting agenda is posted on the County’s website at https://jeffersoncountyal.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx.
