Mulga Loop Road Cleanup

Volunteers are needed for the Mulga Loop Road Litter Cleanup on March 23 from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. There are 2 registration locations: Minor Community Center, 3105 Church Ave. 35244 or Town of Mulga, 505 Mulga Loop Road, 35118. For more information call the County's Stormwater Program at 205-325-8741. The event is focused on removing litter from along the roadways to prevent it from being washed by rain into Village Creek and Bayview Lake. Volunteers are asked to drive to a designated area and work in groups. Certificates for 8 hours of community service are available after the event. Event t-shirts, safety vests, gloves, trash bags, trash grabbers, and bottled water are provided!
